The weather this weekend was not very helpful on being active. After the tease a few weeks ago of 70 degrees these frigid temperatures just make me want to stay indoors. I did trek out into the cold a few times this weekend for a friends birthday dinner Friday and party on Saturday which was Karaoke Style at Trader Todd's. One of my good friends is moving back home to Michigan so I went to brunch with her to say goodbye. Which really isn't a goodbye it's more of a when are you coming back? We talked about going rock climbing over Easter when I go home to Michigan. I also created this new site this weekend as well as spent a lot of money I really don't have on something I have been thinking about for over two years. Yesterday was finally the day that I made the commitment and purchased a Nikon D90! Now I just have to wait for it to arrive. Hopefully soon!
Over all this was a pleasant relaxing weekend. I joined a friend Sunday evening to see the Adjustment Bureau which I enjoyed but I think could have waited till DVD to see. I did also finish my book finally this weekend. For the past month or two I have been reading "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. Its 766 pages and it took about 400 to get all the story lines together but the last half of the book was really good and I would recommend reading it. I now plan on starting to read "Water For Elephants".
For some reason yesterday I wanted to watch a commercial that I have always loved. The ad is for the Sony Bravia TVs. For the longest time I really wanted this TV just so I could watch this Ad on it. Then I realized that was kinda a dumb reason but also felt like wow that ad really worked. So last night I watched this.
